We had a field trip in late October with the children. I always enticipate such event. Mainly because the parents
have a chance to explore with their children somewhere outside their usual world. The joy on their faces exceed that of their offsprings.

This time we were going to the Rifel Bird Santurary. It was the first time I timed it right in the year. When we almost approach the santurary, we started seeing the fields covered with snow geese as far as our eyes can stretch. At the horizon, they were flying around like a funnel cloud. We pulled the car off to the side of the road and stepped out. There was a couple with their telecopic camera taking in the scene. We looked up and saw formation after formation of snow geese arriving. Their regiments were most interesting. Each one of them different. It is like watching a parade. The feeling is exhilarating. One almost feels like going up there to join them.

Ask how many people have seen this phenomana before, living so close to Delta? Hardly any. Isn't it something,
one can live so close to miracals and missing them!
