The different grades of believers facinate me. Two years ago, God arranged me to pray with Lois who was home bound because of an invalid mother. Lois represents a conservative Christian, kind of black and white mentality, fighter for the moral decay of our society and definitely political. Yet she seldom venture out of her Christian circle. At times I have big arguements with her.

Then half a year ago, A tall lady named Donna, walked into the prayer room for the Muslims - A teacher from Tawanimus Secondary - a school with 90% students from Muslim and Hindu background. She loves her students and they love her. But she shared the oppression from her principal and vice principal in the last two years when they found out she is a Christian. She felt like 5 inches tall in that school, not that she had done or say anything to offend them. So we started praying that God will strengthen her and give her new vision. Within a short time, the table was turned around when she looked up to the Lord instead of looking at the storm. God gave her a new zest. This time, not focusing on what she can do but on what he can do. Evan the principal changed her put -down attitute and become supportive of her. Besides teaching, Donna wears many hats, a champion for humanitarian aid. She and her few student made 118 dozens of parogies to raise fund for Haiti disaster. She runs a 'B & B' at her home, she is part of the mission committee of church and she does ballroom dancing. We understand each other and we have sweet fellowship. We certainly share a lot of burdens with each other.

But I am thankful for both ladies. Lois turns out to be a God sent to help me out with the
Bible study and cooking class because she is available and lives close by. I imagine it is the
first time in her Christian life to be directly involved with non-Christians and enjoying the
process. I think she has learn a few things what it means to be a believer too.
