My goodness, I spent two months without doing school! This is the longest holiday in 14 years.
I started my two weeks holiday in H.K. It was fun being treated almost anywhere I went. Fun to visit with Mary, she was hilarious like she used to be in our school days. Fun to walk the streets with mom just the two of us. Fun to see old collegues from40 years ago. Fun to visit Stephen and Sheila in their apartment complex. Fun to reconnect with my three step aunts and one step cousin who miraculously turned their hearts to Jesus after rejecting him for more than 50 years. Even fun to go into China to visit my father. Most of all, fun to trace the steps where I grew up.
The six weeks back home was a flurry. Packaging the P.I.A. to India took up three weeks. Have to marvel at God how he engineered the making of P.I.A. Now it finally finds a home where it will be of use and appreciated. I am more happy with this outcome than all the money it could have brought me.
Gardening was hard work. But sure feel good when every plant is finally sitting on the soil where it should be (for at least half a year).
Good thing I had to take Vivian out once a week. And Virgina's visits were good interruptions which distracted me from being workaholic.
To say there are a hundred things to do before school starts is an understatement. But I am so glad I cross out almost every item from the do list the night before school started.
It was great to see the children again and the new ones. Now my days are ordered, and I just have to coast!
'A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work, This too, I see, is from the hand of God.' Ecc.2:24
