A chapter of her life is closed. Yet in the middle of her sorrow, she is not hopeless and downcast. She is relieved and has a lot to praise and thank God for. For the past 25 years, the people who are closest and dearest to her heart passed away one by one. Everyone from her origional family has gone now. The only comfort is, she knows they have gone to a better place. So God has used 'death' to teach her 'life'. She has gained herself the 'greatest friend' and has grown so much wiser and dearer. I feel happy for Mary.

Kathy called. Had a good talk with her. This time she listened. Hope this is the beginning of a better relationship. She wants to sell her house, retire early and travels. It is not a bad idea - depends on how wise she handles the money that comes from the sale.
