Watched a DVD last night, called 'Conversation with God'. I expect some New Age stuff. However, the title still entreats me, so I picked it. It was about this real guy Neale Donald Walsch's life journey and it was pretty ordinary stuff, however, when he came to the end of his own rope after trying so hard and wanted to give up, God's voice boomed out from no where and starts talking to him. It was most gripping and heart warming. The same kind of stuff Brad Jersek is talking about in Listening Prayer. Oh, one does not need to be religious to be close to God, because he is all around us, he is in us. He never leaves us until the day we die. If only we listen.
I won't mind reading his book one of these days.
